First major snow of the season for the island. There was that rare October storm, but we mostly got rain out here.
Roads were real mushy this morning, and my tires are bald, but I made it to the school.
Spent rest of the afternoon shoveling and scraping.

In Chinese it's Chi. Ran into it when I was researching Power. I found what I read interesting. It uses two basic Chinese characters: The one for Spirit, and the one for an entire Rice plant as if it were still in the ground.
I kind of like that, and still trying to unravel it's true meaning. I'm leaning towards a shallow interpretation of this idea, which is that morale is connected to a basic, earthly, life-given force. And that lifting one's spirits requires a physical, material element, which would be energy.
